Community involvement
It’s important for the Croydon Main Street Traders Association (CMSTA) to be present in the everyday life of the community, which is why we have a pop-up representation in community and local events.
You can find us at:
- The annual Maroondah Festival, which attracts more than 40,000 visitors
- The annual Maroondah Seniors Festival Day and Expo, which attracts more than 600 senior visitors
Training for traders
We believe in lifelong learning, as well as mutual support in the community. We regularly organise free training for our traders to encourage their professional development and broaden their knowledge across various subjects to help grow their businesses, including social media, visual merchandising, and digital marketing.
Community connections
One of the association’s priorities is maintaining fruitful relations and mutual support with local community organisations and their members.
We are grateful to be able to collaborate with the Croydon Partners in Safety Committee, Croydon Historical Society, Croydon Conservation Society, Animal Aid, Cancer Council, local bands and choirs such as the Wind Symphony Orchestra and Croydon Brass Band, and many more.
