Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility: 1.1. The competition is open to all registered members of the Croydon Main Street Traders Association and the community. 1.2. Participants must comply with all relevant local laws and regulations. 1.3. If the competition has any age restrictions, participants must meet the specified age requirements to be eligible.
2. Entry Requirements: 2.1. Participants must adhere to the theme and guidelines specified for each competition. 2.2. Only one entry per participant is allowed per competition, unless otherwise stated. 2.3. All entries must be submitted within the designated timeframe. 2.4. Entries must be the original work of the participant and must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
3. Prizes and Gifts: 3.1. The prizes and gifts for each competition will be clearly stated in the competition announcement. 3.2. Prizes and gifts are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. 3.3. The Croydon Main Street Traders Association reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if the announced prizes are unavailable.
4. Judging: 4.1. Entries will be judged based on the criteria outlined in the competition guidelines. 4.2. The decision of the judging panel is final and binding. 4.3. Winners will be notified through the contact information provided during registration, typically via mobile or social media.
5. Publicity and Content Ownership: 5.1. By participating in the competition, participants grant the Croydon Main Street Traders Association the right to use their names and submitted content/photos for promotional purposes without further compensation. 5.2. Participants retain ownership of their submissions; however, by entering the competition, participants grant the Croydon Main Street Traders Association a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display the submitted content in any media.
6. Data Protection: 6.1. The Croydon Main Street Traders Association will handle participants’ personal data in accordance with relevant data protection laws. 6.2. Personal data collected during the competition will only be used for the purpose of administering the competition and notifying winners.
7. Disqualification: 7.1. The Croydon Main Street Traders Association reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions or engages in conduct deemed inappropriate or unsportsmanlike. 7.2. In the event of disqualification, any prizes and gifts will be forfeited.
8. Liability: 8.1. Participants acknowledge that the Croydon Main Street Traders Association is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the competition. 8.2. The Croydon Main Street Traders Association is not liable for any technical malfunctions, including but not limited to computer or network failures, that may affect the competition.
9. Amendments: 9.1. The Croydon Main Street Traders Association reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes.

By participating in the competition, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
